Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Take some time to remind the people you love that you appreciate them. Here are Valentine’s gift ideas — from extravagant to downright practical.
Now, my personal gift giving philosophies: You can make almost anything event appropriate, even the not so glamorous gifts. For example: For Valentine’s Day you can spice up practical gifts with a witty note. (Eg: Need new cookware? With a spatula, include a note like “you make me flip!”)
Splurge doesn’t mean you go crazy and make fiscally irresponsible decisions. But if you know the recipient would never spend $28 on a tube of lip gloss she really wants, it makes a great gift (for under $30). Since everyone has different budgets, I’ve tried to order these from steal to splurge.
